Comedy manga about Japan's sengoku generals already has video, TV anime

The official website of the Tono to Issho anime franchise has announced that production on a new sequel has been green-lit. The website is streaming a commercial announcing the news from the YouTube website, although the video is blocked outside Japan due to Media Factory's copyright.

Ohba-Kai's manga follows the humorous exploits of generals during Japan's tumultuous sengoku (Era of the Warring States) period. A video anime adaptation had already shipped in March, and a television anime series adaptation premiered in July. A new anime DVD "volume 1.5" shipped with the fifth volume of the manga in August.
