News Haruhi Composer Satoru Kousaki on Hiatus Due to Health

Satoru Kousaki, the musical composer of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Lucky Star, and many other anime titles, announced on his mixi website account this month that he is going on an indefinite hiatus from his work due to poor health. He added that he does not know yet when he will return to work.
Kousaki's other works include Kannagi, Bakemonogatari, The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, Oreimo, and Star Driver Kagayaki no Takuto. He is listed as the composer of A Channel and Hourou Musuko, two anime projects which have yet to premiere.
