Toronto Comic Arts Festival to Host Natsume Ono in May

The Toronto Comic Arts Festival (TCAF) is hosting the first North American guest appearance of manga creator Natsume Ono during the May 7-8 weekend. Since she made her debut in 2003 with La Quinta Camera - 5 Banme no Heya, Ono's works have included House of Five Leaves, Ristorante Paradiso, Gente - Ristorante no Hitobito, and Not Simple. Viz Media is publishing all of these titles in North America. Both Ristorante Paradiso and House of Five Leaves have been adapted into late-night television anime series in Japan.
Ono will appear at panels and book signings on both days of the May 7-8 weekend at the Toronto Reference Library. The event is free, but attendees must pre-register for Ono's panel and signings.
