This year's 14th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing that a Flash anime version of Kenta Shinohara's school comedy manga Sket Dance will debut on the franchise's official website on Monday. The Flash anime will feature super-deformed characters; the previously announced television anime series will premiere in April with normal-proportioned characters (pictured at right).
The upcoming Weekly Shonen Jump magazine issue is also confirming that French Kiss, a sub-group of the all-female idol group AKB48, will perform the opening theme song of the television anime series. The performers of the ending theme song will be the pillows rock band. French Kiss member Yuki Kashiwagi will also voice Rumi, the younger sister of the main character Bossun (Hiroyuki Yoshino).
In the story, Yūsuke "Bossun" Fujisaki and several students in his high school form a "Sket Group" to solve any trouble in the student body.
