Japan's Animation DVD Ranking, July 18-24

AKB48's AKB ga Ippai ~The Best Music Video~ collection stayed at #3 in its fifth week. It sold 9,619 more copies for a total of 323,898. The live-action special-effects work Kamen Rider W Returns Kamen Rider Eternal debuted at #5 by selling 8,819 copies.
The first film in Shinsuke Sato's live-action adaptation of Hiroya Oku's Gantz action manga fell from #1 to #11 in its second week. It sold 6,841 more copies for a new total of 42,200.
Takashi Yamazaki's live-action film adaptation of the Space Battleship Yamato anime (pictured right) drooped from #8 to #16 in its fifth week. It sold 4,762 copies for a new total of 101,991.
The Hatsune Miku Vision music DVD from various artists landed at #17 with 4,715 copies. The Berryz KOUBOU 7th Anniversary Concert Tour 2011 Spring ~Weekly Berryz Times~ DVD debuted at #27. It sold 2,807 copies.
The first volume of the live-action special-effects series Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger debuted at #34 with 2,069 copies sold. The making-of DVD for Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger the Movie also debuted at #77 with 1,079 copies sold. The sixth volume of the live-action Kamen Rider 000 series landed at #37 with 2,024 copies sold.
