Fullmetal Alchemist Movie Will "Hopefully" Have U.K. Theatrical Screenings from May

<p><img src="/images/encyc/A12180-23.jpg " align="right" vspace="3" hspace="3"><cite class="e anime"><a href="/encyclopedia/manga.php?id=39851">!<i> manga</i></a></cite> Entertainment has <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/MangaUK/status/156663024688705536" target="_blank">tweeted</a> that it will be releasing the feature film <cite class="e anime"><a href="/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=12180">Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos</a></cite> in 2012, adding, "Hopefully first theatrical screenings in May." <p>Released in Japan in July 2011, the film is a spinoff from <cite class="e anime"><a href="/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=10216">Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood</a></cite>, relating a previously untold adventure of the Elric brothers as they become involved with a rebellion in a distant valley.<p>The film is due to be <a href="/news/2011-11-15/2011-fma-film-to-open-in-100-u.s-theaters-in-january" target="_blank">released</a> in 100 <strong>American</strong> cinemas on January 20.
