Showing at Apollo cinema near Piccadilly on October 5 and 7.

There will be two London screenings of the full-CG anime feature After School Midnighters, on Friday October 5 (1.15 p.m.) and Sunday October 7 (2.30 p.m). The venue is the Apollo Cinema near Piccadilly Circus underground station, and the screenings are part of the Raindance Film Festival.

Tickets are £5 for the Friday screening and £10 for the Sunday screening. They can be booked through the above link, in person at the cinema, or by phone: 0871 224 0242.

In the slapstick comedy film, a human anatomical model comes to life at midnight in a science classroom at an elite elementary school. Kouichi Yamadera (Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion) stars in the film as the naked anatomical model Kunstlijk, and Hiromasa Taguchi (Kaasan - Mom's Life) voices the skeleton specimen Goth. Hitoshi Takekiyo directs the film after directing the original 2007 CG anime short After School Midnight (Hōkago Midnight).
