Kana Hanazawa Leads P.A. Works' Nagi no Asu Kara Cast

The November issue of ASCII Media Works' Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine is revealing on Thursday that Kana Hanazawa (Kobato.'s title character, Oreimo's Kuroneko, Deadman Wonderland's Shiro) and Natsuki Hanae (Tari Tari's Wien) are starring in Nagi no Asu Kara, the original anime work from the studio P.A. Works and the magazine. Hanazawa will play Manaka Mukaido, a middle school girl who is indecisive and prone to crying. Hanae will play Hikari Sakishima, Manaka's caring childhood friend.
Toshiya Shinohara (Black Butler, The Book of Bantorra) is directing off scripts supervised by Mari Okada (Black Butler, The Book of Bantorra, anohana, Hana-Saku Iroha). Buriki (Haganai, Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko) is in charge of the original character designs.
The project's promotional video will debut at a stage event during the Dengeki 20th Anniversary Festival event in Chiba on October 20 at 1:00 p.m.
