SCA-ji & Kira Inugami's story of all-girls school club to run on Wednesdays

The streaming service Crunchyroll announced on Friday that it will stream the anime adaptation of SCA-ji and Kira Inugami's Ebiten: Kōritsu Ebisugawa Kōkō Tenmon-Bu comedy manga. The streams will run on Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. EDT in the United States, Canada, and South Africa, although the launch date has not been announced.

The story centers around Itsuki Noya (played by Mariya Ise), a new student who wishes to join the school's astronomy club (tenmon-bu). However, Itsuki actually entered the similarly named Tenmon-bu — a club for fujoshi (female otaku) interests.

SCA-ji and Kira Inugami launched the manga in Kadokawa's Comp Ace magazine in 2008, and Kadokawa published the third compiled book volume in January. Inugami's other works include illustrations in the Seitokai no Ichizon (Student Council's Discretion) light novels and the mascot character for the card game division of the character goods maker Broccoli.

Ebiten: Kōritsu Ebisugawa Kōkō Tenmon-Bu premiered on Japanese television on October 3.
