According to ReedPop Group Vice President Lance Fensterman, New York Comic Con (NYCC) maxed out attendance at about 116,000 visitors this year. Fensterman also said that about 300 fraudulent badges were seized from con-goers.

The convention had 40,000 more gross square footage this year, despite ongoing construction in the Javits center. The renovations are now wrapped up, adding 90,000 more square feet of use for NYCC 2013.

New York Comic Con ran from October 11-14 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City, New York. This year was the first since New York Anime Fest officially merged with NYCC into one event.
