Liberation Maiden SIN Visual Novel's Opening Movie Streamed

PS3 game about mind-reading assistant & female cabinet to ship on December 5

The official website for Liberation Maiden SIN, the 5pb. visual novel spinoff of Level 5 and Goichi "Suda 51" Suda's Liberation Maiden (Kaihō Shōjo) shooter, updated with the opening movie on Friday. The movie features Marina's opening theme song "Kimi wa Mō, Hitori Janai" (You're Not Alone Anymore).

The game follows Kiyoto Kaidō, a mind reader working for President Shōko Ōzora. (Ōzora was the protagonist of the original Liberation Maiden game.) The game's cast includes:

Suda (No More Heroes, Lollipop Chainsaw) contributed some of the game's scenario and is serving as supervisor. Chiyomaru Shikura (Steins;Gate, Chaos;HEAd) is acting as general producer, and Yuusuke Kozaki (Fire Emblem: Awakening, No More Heroes) is designing the characters. Geto Koyamashi (No More Heroes) is supervising and creating mechanical designs. HIMEKA is contributing the ending theme song "Tsu-Ba-Sa."

The game is slated to ship for the PlayStation 3 in Japan on December 5. The limited edition with original drama CD and soundtrack will cost 9,240 yen (about US$93). The regular and downloadable versions will cost 7,140 yen (US$72).

The Liberation Maiden shooter game received a worldwide release for iOS devices in March. The game was originally released for the Nintendo 3DS as part of the Guild01 game compilation with animation by Studio BONES.
