2014 Super Sentai Show Tokkyūger Unveiled

Bandai's toy catalog for retailers has unveiled the 2014 Super Sentai special-effects series Ressha Sentai Tokkyūger. The television series will premiere on TV Asahi on February 16, 2014 at 7:30 a.m.
The theme of the new show is trains, and the staff plan to target train enthusiasts alongside Super Sentai fans. The members of the Tokkyūger squadron are: Tokkyū 1 (Red), Tokkyū 2 (Blue), Tokkyū 3 (Yellow), Tokkyū 4 (Green), and Tokkyū 5 (Pink). The main mech in the show will be the Tokkyū-Oh (pictured above), and the transformation sequences will involve electronic ticket devices (pictured at top right in below image) called "Tokkyu Chargers."
The catalog also reveals the DX Tokkyū-Oh toy, which will be made up of five trains and will stand 275 mm (about 10.8 inches) tall when assembled.
Additionally, the catalog also previewed weapons, and some of the train designs that will be featured in the show.
