posted on by Sarah Nelkin
The new anime project Planet:Valkyrie debuted before 5,000 fans at the end of voice actress Minori Chihara's Christmas live concert in Tokyo on Monday. Animation studio P.A. Works then opened the official website for the project, which is based on Chihara's songs. The website is hosting a new key visual and a short version of the animated Part I of the project. The video features the theme song “Kimi ga Kureta Ano Hi” (That Day You Gave Me):
Elements Garden's Daisuke Kikuta wrote the music, Elements Garden's Hoshimi Iwahashi arranged the music, and Aki Hata wrote the lyrics:
On that day you gave me,
I became unable to see you anywhere.
Even though I spoke of love
With my heart still hot.
Far away, far away, far away.
It's a lie that it won't reach.
Even so, just a little, I want to have a little bit of a smile.
I'm sure that the me that looked back
Was able to see tomorrow that had the sparkle of time.
The website also lists the staff for the project:
