Love Stage!!'s Limited Edition 5th Manga Volume to Include an OVA

posted on by Reina Bolanos
TV anime already announced for July

Manga Oh publishing company now lists on its website that the 5th volume of Taishi Zaou and Eiki Eiki's boys-love manga Love Stage!! will include an original video animation in the limited edition release, which will ship on November 22 with a special cover photo and box.

J.C. Staff opened the official Love Stage!! anime website in January to announce the television anime adaptation. Kenichi Kasai (Major, Bakuman., Nodame Cantabile) is directing the series at J.C. Staff. Michiko Yokote (xxxHOLiC, Squid Girl) is working on the series composition while Yoko Ito (key animator for Tantei Opera Milky Holmes, Turn A Gundam) is in charge of character design.

The cast includes:

Tsubasa Yonaga (Free!'s Nagisa Hazuki) as Izumi Sena

Takuya Eguchi (Hamatora's Mao) as Ryūma Ichijō

The show will premiere in July.

Eiki Eiki and Taishi Zaou's original manga revolves around Izumi Sena, a boy born into a family of ultra-famous entertainers. However, he is the only member of the family who is not in the entertainment industry, and he is a super otaku college student, too. He has been striving hard to become a manga creator, but he ends up starring in a television commercial. He eventually cross paths again with the very famous actor Ryūma, who becomes aware of his attraction towards Izumi.

Several of Eiki's works, such as The Art of Loving, Color (a collaboration with Zaou), Dear Myself, Millennium Prime Minister, and Train☆Train, have been published in English. Zaou's Electric Hands and Mysterious Love have also been published in English.
