Voice Actor Rome Elliot Passes Away

Anime roles included Gravitation's Eiri, Genshiken's Kugayama

ANN has confirmed that voice actor James Ward, also known as Rome Elliot, passed away on Thursday. Fellow voice actor Bill Rogers announced Ward's passing on his Facebook page and explained that Ward had been suffering from a tumor on his spinal cord.

Ward played several roles in anime under the pseudonym Rome Elliot, including Mitsunori Kugayama in Genshiken, Eiri Yuki in Gravitation, and Mickey Simon in Central Park Media's dub of Area 88.
