Angela, CustomiZ Return for 2nd Knights of Sidonia Season's Themes

The official Twitter account for the Knights of Sidonia television anime announced on Saturday that musical duo angela will perform the second television anime season's opening theme "Kishi Kōshikyoku" (Knight March) and rock band CustomiZ will perform the ending theme "Requiem."
angela previously performed the opening theme "Sidonia" for the first season, and she will perform the theme song "Ai, Hitokakera" for the theatrical film edition of the first season that will open on March 6. angela will release her single with both "Kishi Kōshikyoku" and "Ai, Hitokakera" on April 29, and her new album "ONE WAY" will ship on May 20.
CustomiZ performed the ending theme "Hitsuji no Hikari" (Ray of Light) for the second season's advance screening version. The band's single with "Requiem" will ship on June 3.
The second season, titled Sidonia no Kishi: Dai-kyū Wakusei Seneki (Knights of Sidonia: Battle for Planet Nine), will premiere in April in the Animeism programming block. Hiroyuki Seshita, the assistant director of the first season, is replacing Kobun Shizuno as the director of the second season at POLYGON PICTURES, and Sadayuki Murai is returning to be in charge of the series scripts.
The theatrical film opening on March 6 will be a compilation of all 12 episodes of the season with new sequences and redone sound effects.
The first TV anime season premiered in Japan last April and Netflix premiered the English version streaming in July.
