Oldcodex Performs High Speed! Free! Starting Days Film's Theme

The official website for the High Speed! -Free! Starting Days- anime film confirmed on Monday that the group OLDCODEX will perform the theme song. Lantis and Bandai Visual will release the unnamed single on December 16 in three versions: the limited first edition for 1,800 yen (about US$15), the regular edition for 1,300 yen (US$11), and the anime edition for 1,200 yen (US$10). The limited first edition will bundle a DVD with a music video and a making-of video.
Lantis and Bandai will also offer the film's original soundtrack by Tatsuya Katou on December 16 for 3,000 yen (US$25).
Participating theaters have been already offering advance tickets for the film with one of six randomly distributed clear file folders, with exclusive illustrations by the character designer Futoshi Nishiya, since July 25.
The theaters have also been selling advance tickets without bonuse extras since August 8.
Another set of the advance tickets went on sale at Comic Market 88 (August 14-16) with posters featuring an exclusive illustration.
Still another limited-number set will offer pairs of tickets with one of 22 different designs, starting on September 26. The tickets come with a limited number of ticket holders.

The website posted new Twitter icons and wallpaper to accompany the new visual for the film. It also revealed designs for the six main characters, more cast members, and character profiles.
