Manga Entertainment Releasing Pokemon Films

Amazon also lists 30th anniversary edition of Akira, Blu-ray release of 1986 Transformers: The Movie

UK Anime Network reports that Amazon UK is listing the following Manga Entertainment releases. Some of them have also been confirmed on Manga's Twitter feed, see below.

October 3 - Digimon: Digital Monsters Season 1

October 24 - Pokémon The Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages (pictured right) on DVD and Blu-ray

November 14 - Pokémon Movie 1-3 Collection as a Limited Edition Blu-ray Steelbook and a standard DVD; also Digimon: Digital Monsters Season 2. The three films contained in the Pokemon collection are listed as follows: Pokemon The First Movie, Pokemon 2000 - The Movie and Pokemon 3 The Movie

November 28 - Akira 30th Anniversary Edition, a triple-play edition including the film on Blu-ray, DVD and as a Digital Copy. According to the Amazon listing, "This 25th Anniversary Edition features both the original 1988 Streamline English dub and the 2001 Pioneer/Animaze English dub. Special Features: Akira Sound Clip (1988), Music for Akira, Director Interview (subtitled), Storyboard Collection, The Writing on the Wall, Original Trailers (subtitled), Original Commercials (subtitled), Restoring Akira, Glossary, U.S. 2013 Trailer, Trailers. Special Packaging Includes: Rigid collectors box, Art cards, reversible inlay and classic movie poster and bonus DVD and Digital Copy."

December 12 - Transformers: The Movie (the 1986 US movie animated by Toei Animation), also as a 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Steelbook. According to the Amazon listing, this edition includes a "two Blu-ray set of the newly remastered movie (Both aspect ratios), immersive bonus content including brand-new featurettes"

December 19 - Digimon Adventure Tri: The Movie Part 1 as a Collector's Edition Blu-ray and a standard DVD. The Collector's Edition will include a Double Walled Slip Cover, a Blu-ray Case with reversible sleeve, a mini booklet and a set of art cards

Manga Entertainment's Twitter feed confirms, "We'll be releasing the "Pokemon movies in the UK" and "We'll also be releasing Transformers: The Movie 30th Anniversary on Ltd Ed Blu-ray steelbook."
