AnimeFest to Host Ghost in the Shell: SAC Scriptwriter Dai Sato

The staff for the Dallas anime convention AnimeFest announced on Monday that Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Ergo Proxy writer Dai Satō will appear as a guest of honor at this year's convention. This year will mark Sato's eighth time visiting the convention.
Sato served as a scriptwriter a for Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Ergo Proxy, Eureka Seven, Tekken: Blood Vengeance, Chō Soku Henkei Gyrozetter, Dai - Shogun - Great Revolution, Mysterious Joker, and Puzzle & Dragons X. He founded the company Story Riders in 2007, and currently serves as president.
AnimeFest 2017 will be held at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel from August 17-20. The convention will also host director Sayo Yamamoto, co-creator Mitsurou Kubo, and character designer and animation director Tadashi Hiramatsu from the Yuri!!! on Ice television anime, as well as voice actress Atsumi Tanezaki.
