Sentai Filmworks announced the rest of the English dub cast for Chivalry of a Failed Knight on Friday. The full cast, including the previously revealed voices for Ikki and Stella, is as follows:

Chris Ayres is directing the dub and David Wald is writing the script. Additional voices include Chris Ayres, Katelyn Barr, Bryson Baugus, Cameron Bautsch, Shelley Calene-Black, Greg Cote, Johnny De La Cerda, Cara Duncan, Shannon Emerick, Luis Galindo, Tyler Galindo, Tiffany Grant, Karlii Hoch, Jack Ivy, Mark X Laskowski, Andrew Love, David Matranga, Chelsea Ryan McCurdy, Carolyn Medrano, Shanae'a Moore, Josh Morrison, Natalie Rial, Blake Shepard, and Allen Titel.

Sentai Filmworks will release the series on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on June 13.

The series premiered in Japan in October 2015 and Sentai Filmworks streamed the series on Hulu as it aired. The company announced in 2015 that it had licensed the anime.

The "school sword action" story revolves around Magic Knights, modern magic-users who fight with weapons converted from their souls. Ikki Kurogane goes to a school for these Magic Knights, but he is the "Failed Knight" or "Worst One" who is failing because he has no magical skills. However, one day, he is challenged to a duel by Stella, a foreign princess and the "Number One" student. In this duel, "the loser must be obedient for life."

Shin Oonuma (Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, WATAMOTE) and Jin Tamamura (Invaders of the Rokujyōma!?) served as director and series director, respectively, at the anime studios SILVER LINK (Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, WATAMOTE) and Nexus (Santa Company, Wakaba Girl). Shogo Yasukawa (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Hyperdimension Neptunia, Terraformars) was in charge of the series scripts, and Sei Komatsubara designed the characters.
