Linked Horizon's Shingeki no Kiseki album, which includes the group's opening theme song for the second season of Attack on Titan, sold 25,273 copies in its first week to rank at #2 on Oricon's weekly chart. The album shipped in Japan on May 17. The sales number represents the CD-only standard edition, not the limited editions that bundle a DVD or Blu-ray Disc.

By comparison, Jiyū e no Shingeki, Linked Horizon's three-track single CD for the Attack on Titan anime's first two opening songs, sold 129,110 copies in its first week in July 2013. Its retail price is lower than that of Shingeki no Kiseki, however, since Shingeki no Kiseki has 11 tracks, including all three Attack on Titan opening theme songs.

Relatedly, Koei Tecmo Games' Shingeki no Kyojin: Shichi Kara no Dasshutsu (Attack on Titan: Escape From the Brink of Death) Nintendo 3DS adventure game shipped on May 11 in Japan and sold 8,599 copies in its first week, according to Media Create's sales data. By comparison, Spike Chunsoft's Shingeki no Kyojin ~Jinrui Saigo no Tsubasa~ (Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains) 3DS action game sold 93,471 copies in its first week in early December 2013, and its updated version shipped 19,073 copies the following year. Koei Tecmo Games' earlier Attack on Titan action game, which shipped in February 2016, sold 62,111 copies for PlayStation Vita, 61,156 copies for PlayStation 4, and 27,415 copies for PlayStation 3.
