Pure Wish Announces Song of Unleash Game for PS4, PC in 2019

Game featuring little sisters is set 7 years after Song of Memories

Game developer Pure Wish announced Song of Unleash as its second game project on Friday. The "choosing the future through memories and feelings with little sisters romance adventure" game will launch for PlayStation 4 in Japan and PC via Steam worldwide in early 2019. The game is also planned for release for PS4 and other platforms outside Japan.

The game's "heartrending story with cute little sisters" is set seven years after the “Utanami Incident” from Pure Wish's first game Song of Memories. The game's official website teases that characters from the previous game may appear in the upcoming game.

The game's story begins when the protagonist wakes up in a hospital bed on a calm spring day. He cannot remember who he is or why he is in the hospital. Four girls appear before him, and three claim to be his little sister. While trying to make sense of the situation, he finds a smartphone by his bed and turns it on. Suddenly, four girls he has never met before are projected in front of him. The AI unit calls themselves the Little Sisters and also claim to be the protagonist's younger sisters. At the girls' suggestion, he decides to check the name on his room to determine who the real little sister is.

Nirai Kanai is collaborating with Pure Wish on the game. Nirai Kanai's Atsu Hanzawa is providing the character designs. EdgeWorks's Yasuyuki Mochida is providing the scenario based on the original scenario plan by Pure Wish's Natsuki.

Pure Wish released the Song of Memories game for PlayStation 4 last April.
