Arc System Works began streaming a sixth character introduction video on Thursday for the BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle crossover fighting game for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The video reveals new playable characters, including Platinum the Trinity from BlazBlue CentralFiction, Orie from Under Night In-Birth, and Kanji Tatsumi from Persona 4 Arena.
Arc System Works America also revealed on Thursday that the game's North American release will cost US$49.99, and will also be available in a Deluxe Digital Edition that includes the main game and all six DLC character packs for US$69.99. Individual character packs with three characters each (for a total of six character packs) will be available for US$4.99 each, and all character packs together as a separate purchase will be available for US$19.99. The first character pack with Platinum the Trinity, Orie, and Kanji Tatsumi will be available for free for the first two weeks after launch.
The base game will feature 20 characters, and 20 more characters will be available via DLC (including Blake and Yang). The additional characters will be available in several DLC releases: an Additional Character All-in-One Pack, Blake Belladonna by herself, six Additional Character Set volumes with three characters each (to be revealed later), and another additional character (to be revealed later).

The box's bonuses include the art box itself, the download code for the Additional Character All-in-One Pack, an art book, and an acrylic illustration standee (PlayStation 4 version only) or a multi-use storage pouch (Nintendo Switch version only).
The early copies of both the regular edition and the limited edition will also include the original soundtrack.

The title is a two-versus-two game. Arc System Works' newly established North American branch Arc System Works America, Inc. will release the game as its first title.
