posted on by Karen Ressler
Character to launch as part of DLC pass

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced on Friday that Android 17 will be the eighth DLC character for Dragon Ball FighterZ. The character appears with his Dragon Ball Super design; his Dragon Ball Z design is already in the game as an assist to his sister Android 18.

The company shared screenshots, and a moveset video will debut on Saturday.

Android 17 is one of eight characters available for separate purchase or as part of the FighterZ Pass. The previously released and/or revealed characters for the pass are Broly, Bardock, Fused Zamasu, Vegito Blue, Base Goku, Base Vegeta, and Cooler. The FighterZ Pass also includes a music pack with 11 songs from the anime and a commentator voice pack.

The game launched for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam in the Americas and Europe on January 26, and launched on February 1 in Japan for PS4 and Xbox One. The game has sold 2.5 million copies worldwide. The Nintendo Switch version of the game will launch in Japan on September 27 and will launch in the Americas and Europe on September 28.
