Rock Band FLOW Perform Theme Song for Code Geass Social Game

Action RPG for browser, iOS, Android launches this winter

DMM Games revealed during a livestream presentation at the Tokyo Game Show 2018 event on Sunday that rock band FLOW will perform the theme song "Pendulum" for the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Lost Stories social game. The band performed the song at the event, and announced that they will have a solo concert at the Nippon Budokan hall on January 30.

The presentation also revealed that the action role-playing game will launch this winter as a PC browser game, and will also launch for DMM Games Player for Windows, iOS, and Android. Players will play as either a male or female protagonist designed by Shirabi. The game will feature an original story.

Sunrise revealed last month that the Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch (English subtitle: Re;surrection) sequel anime film project will be one film that will premiere in February. Director Goro Taniguchi confirmed that many of the key staff members are returning for the movie, and specifically emphasized that the story will be complete in one film, which will serve as a finale.

The first film in the series' compilation recap trilogy, Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch - Kōdō (lit.: The Awakening Path, official English subtitle: Initiation), opened in Japan in October 2017. The second film, Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch - Handō (lit.: The Rebellion Path, official English subtitle: Transgression), opened in Japan in February. The third film, Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch - Ōdō (lit.: The Imperial Path, official English subtitle: Glorification), opened in May.

Funimation has licensed the trilogy.

The original Code Geass television series premiered in 2006, followed by a sequel series in 2008. The series has inspired various manga and original video anime, including the Code Geass: Akito the Exiled spinoff, which premiered in 2012.

Update: Added details for game's release date, platforms, and protagonist.
