The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel I/II Games Launch for PS4 in West in 2019

Both releases to have dual audio

XSEED Games and Marvelous Europe announced on Monday that The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II games will launch for PlayStation 4 in the West in early 2019. The releases will have both Japanese and English audio for the first time in the game series' history.

The English dub will include more than 5,000 English lines that were previously only available on the PC versions. A free update with Japanese voices will be available for people who own the PC versions of the games.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Decisive Edition release will include a 50 Mira replica coin, 21-track Musical Selections CD, and SteelBook case for US$49.99. Similarly, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II Relentless Edition release will bundle an Ouroboros emblem pin, 23-track Musical Selection CD, and SteelBook case for US$49.99.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel shipped in Japan for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in September 2013. XSEED released the game in North America for both consoles in December 2015, and NIS America released the game in Europe for both consoles in January 2016. XSEED released the game for PC on August 1. The game's PS4 release in Japan launched on March 8. The game received a stage musical adaptation in January 2017.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II shipped in Japan for the PS3 and PS Vita in September 2014. XSEED Games released the sequel in North America for both consoles in September 2016, while NIS America released it in Europe for both consoles in November 2016. The game launched for PS4 in Japan on April 26.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III PS4 "story role-playing game" shipped in Japan in September 2017. Nihon Falcom revealed The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV: The End of Saga game in December, and it shipped for PS4 in Japan on September 27.
