'Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?!' Anime Reveals Visual, October TV Premiere

The official website for the anime adaptation of FUNA's Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?! (Watashi, Nōryoku wa Heikinchi de tte Itta yo ne!) light novel series revealed on Monday that the anime will be a television anime that will premiere in October. The site also revealed a teaser visual for the anime.
When she turns ten years old, Adele von Ascham is hit with a horrible headache–and memories of her previous life as an eighteen-year-old Japanese girl named Kurihara Misato. That life changed abruptly, however, when Misato died trying to aid a little girl and met god. During that meeting, she made an odd request and asked for average abilities in her next life. But few things–especially wishes–ever go quite as planned.
Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?! will be the first anime project for an Earth Star Novel title.
FUNA launched the original novel on the "Shōsetsuka ni Narō!" (Let's Become Novelists!) website in January 2016, and it is ongoing. Taibundo and Earth Star Novel published the first volume in print with illustrations by Itsuki Akata in May 2016, and the 10th volume shipped on March 15. The 11th volume will ship on July 16. Seven Seas Entertainment published the sixth volume on June 25.
Neko Mint launched the manga adaptation on Earth Star Entertainment's Comic Earth Star website in August 2016. The third compiled volume shipped in June 2018. Seven Seas Entertainment published the third volume on May 21.
Yuki Moriki is launching a four-panel spinoff manga titled Watashi, Miochijō wa Heikinchi de tte Itta yo ne! (Didn't I Say to Make My Everyday Life Average in the Next Life?!) on the Comic Earth Star website on July 11.
