Aniplus Asia Airs Simulcast of You Can't Be In a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends!, The Case Book of Arne Anime

Aniplus Asia announced last week that it will air a simulcast for the television anime of Shinya Misu's You Can't Be In a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends! (Osananajimi to wa LoveCom ni Naranai) manga, as well as the television anime of Game Magazine's The Case Book of Arne (Arne no Jiken-bo) mystery game.
The simulcast for You Can't Be In a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends! will premiere on January 6 at 12:30 a.m. GMT +8.
The manga centers on Eiyū, a high school boy whose two childhood friends, Shio and Akari, also go to the same school as him. He has now started looking at them with both romantic and lustful eyes, though he knows that they have no interest in him, which causes him no end of worrying. However, Shio and Akari have their own secrets.

Satoshi Kuwabara (Black Jack, The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses, The Quintessential Quintuplets) is directing the anime at Tezuka Productions. Mitsutaka Hirota (Edens Zero, Rent-A-Girlfriend) is supervising the series scripts and writing them with Mayumi Morita (Black Jack, The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses, The Quintessential Quintuplets). Reina Iwasaki (The Dawn of the Witch, VTuber Legend: How I Went Viral after Forgetting to Turn Off My Stream) is designing the characters. CyberAgent is producing.
The simulcast for The Case Book of Arne will premiere on January 7 at 9:30 p.m. GMT +8.
The game's story centers on the unlikely tandem of vampire detective Arne Neuntöte and Lynn Reinweiss, the daughter of a noble family who loves vampires. Together, they solve bloodly murder cases.

Keisuke Inoue (Ao-chan Can't Study!, My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!, Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero) is directing the anime at SILVER LINK, and is also co-writing the anime with Murasaki, who is in charge of the game's scenario and production. Akiko Satō (Trigun Stampede, A Condition Called Love, Betrothed to My Sister's Ex) is designing the characters, and is also the chief animation director. Yoshiaki Fujisawa is composing the music.
