Funimation Channel Vod Package Now Available with Premium SD and HD Content Through Comcast Media Center

The Nation's Leading Anime Network Launches a Combined Revenue Generating Package for TV Providers

West Palm Beach, FL, (February 15, 2011)FUNimation Channel, the nation's leading Anime television network, is now available with SD and HD content through a combined revenue generating video-on-demand package to TV Providers in the U.S., U.S. Territories and Canada, through the Comcast Media Center (CMC).

The FUNimation Channel video-on-demand package combines product sampling with proven transactional and a subscription level of service to this extremely attractive demographic. Each product drives usage to the next, creating a path to capture a wider audience while maximizing revenues.

The subscription level of service includes up to 40 TV hours of SD and 13 TV hours of HD content per month, which includes full anime series, specials, iconic classics, originals, behind the scenes and select premium live action titles, a compelling all around value for the consumer. The transaction package includes up to 15 TV hours of SD and 5 TV hours of HD content per month, which includes single episodes of premiering titles, iconic classics, movies, originals and premium live action titles.

By making the package available through the CMC's video-on-demand distribution footprint, the product is available to more than 98 percent of the industry's leading TV providers, reaching more than 56 million video-on-demand enabled households in the U.S. and Canada.

FUNimation Channel video-on-demand offering is refreshed weekly to ensure maximum consumer appeal with both popular iconic titles such as Trigun, One Piece, Evangelion and Kenichi, and recently released, full seasons of anime titles including: Hetalia, Black Butler, Corpse Princess, Sengoku Basara, Eden of the East, Soul Eater and more.
