Nekocon Announces Last Minute Musical Guest Mikako Joho in Concert!

Official Site: http://mikakojoho.com/
Hometown - Chiba Prefecture
Birthday - March 4, 1988
Blood Type - A

Mikako Joho is a singer with a clear, smooth voice who began classical piano at the age of four and then started jazz piano in July 2010. She has previously performed handling lead vocals and piano as part of a band (DR, EB, G, KEY) and a trio (PERC, WB) as well as being a soloist. Her original music showcases her piano featured stylings with jazzy Neo-soul R&B lines and her own Japanese language lyrics. Mikako Joho's live performances are also highlighted by her take on Jazz standards and Pop covers.

She is currently performing in the Tokyo area Live House scene and working on new original material. Her first single to be released later this year, "Kimi ga suki datta" which means "I liked you" was written based on her high-school memories. Her single will have 3 versions: an uptempo electro sounding Original Version, a downtempo Acoustic Version and a Piano Version.

After a successful US debut last summer, Ms. Joho looks forward to sharing her music with Nekocon this November.
