Anime Conji 2013 Welcomes Metalocalypse Director Mark Brooks as Guest of Honor

LOS ANGELES, CA, March 8th, 2013 – Anime Conji, San Diego's Anime Convention, announces Mark Brooks as a Guest of Honor! Mark Brooks is best known in the animation world as the writer and director of the Metalocalypse on Adult Swim, as the animation director for the anime film Baton, and for the “Fruity Oaty Bars” segment in the film Serenity.

Mark Brooks also co-founded the influential punk band Warlock Pinchers, releasing six full-length albums, several singles and touring the country, before moving into film and television. His directing credits include The Slim Shady Show starring Eminem, Black Panther for Marvel Comics, numerous music videos, as well as writing/directing the short film Playing With Dolls from Slayer's most recent CD.

Mark Brooks will be performing live with his dark synth band Night Club on Saturday evening 4/13 at Maid Cafe Kinetic, our special late night maid cafe event!
