Ryokuoushoku Shakai Drops Their New Song 'Riding the wind,' Theme Song For Theatrical Anime L'étoile de Paris en fleur
Tokyo, Japan – Ryokuō-shoku Shakai has officially released their new song "Riding the wind" following last December's announcement that it would serve as the theme song for the theatrical anime L'étoile de Paris en fleur. In addition, an official music video for “Riding the wind” premieres on March 11, bringing the song's story to life.
Composed by bassist Shingo Anami, the song was born from what he described as "a surge of excitement deep within" upon receiving the opportunity to create the film's theme song. The lyrics, written by vocalist Haruko Nagaya, carry a message of hope and determination, reflecting the singer's wish for the track to become "a trigger for people to take a new step forward."
Inspired by the film's early-20th-century setting, the song blends classical instrumentation with the band's signature band ensemble sound, layered with Nagaya's crystal clear and powerful vocals. The result is a sweeping, uplifting piece that captures and delivers the spirit of courage and renewal at the heart of both the film and the band's music. A collaboration video which fuses together the song's message with the film has been released and can be viewed below.
