| Boogiepop and Others (live-action movie) | Soooo......a prequel to Boogiepop.....yay! This movie was very enjoyable for me. Since I'm a pretty big fan of Boogiepop Phantom, I can say that this movie is only for the hardcore Boogiepop-philes.....since it lacks decent special effects and the acting is horrible at certain parts, it's safe to say that somebody new to the series would not enjoiy this movie at all. The main reason for fans to watch this movie is that it reveals a lot of secrets and confirms a lot of assumptions speculated upon after watching the TV series. This movie's main saving grace is the superb amount of information we get from watching it......plus we get to see cute Toka in full Boogiepop attire....heh...!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Kill Bill Chapter 3: The Origin of O-Ren (movie segment) | I love this movie....the whole movie.....it was great. I remember when I was watching this for the first time in theaters and really enjoying it, when all of the sudden...boom!....beautiful anime explodes on the screen and I *LITERALLY* almost had an orgasm. I looked at it and thought, "What a piece of eye candy, the animation looks similar to the animation used in Blood The Last Vampire....".....and indeed when I looked at the credits I saw that Production I.G. had struck again. God bless their little hearts. |
