| Maria Holic (TV) | Good | This series has some very interesting quirks and a twisted sense of humour. Mariya is a sadistic crossdresser and Kanako is a perverted lesbian, and together with thee crazy setting they have evoked many a fit of laughter from me. One thing that bothers me, though, is the blatant use of cost-saving techniques, but at least they're being creative about it. Oh, and Matsurika seems a bit redundant. |

| Rurouni Kenshin (TV 1996) | Excellent | I haven't finished this yet, but so far I'm being solidly entertained by this series. I thought Kenshin was awesome ever since I saw his OVA, and while the comedic feel here can be annoying at times, it never gets out of hand such that it would spoil his character. The battles are fun to watch if you don't mind all the talking and flashbacks in-between, and things certainly are heating up plot-wise in the Kyoto arc. |
