I've been watching Inuyasha on the cn for about a year and it just seems like its never ending. I mean I really like it but does anybody know how many episodes have been made and if there still making brand spanking new episodes of Inuyasha. And does he ever actually kill Nurako? Does the jewel chard ever become one again? And if it does what happens after?

Here's what the Encyclopedia says.

And no, they haven't killed Naraku yet, nor have they found the last piece of the Shikon no Tama. They're currently looking for the last fragment, but I haven't seen the last few episodes, so I'm not sure how much they've progressed (left off on like, 150-something, I think).

Inuyasha is a grand total of 167 episodes (where it will end), which it will end in October I believe, after running since the year 2000.

It has about 7 more episodes to go.

The manga's around 37 volumes(since 1996), although the rumor is she'll finally end it soon also.

Tony K.- How did you get to watch so far ahead in the series? Because on cn there only in the middle of the series. Can you actually buy the series and if so do you know where I can get a hold of Inuyasha series other than tv.

Kusanagi-sama_ Are they going to realease those 7 episodes in the U.S. first. Or do they air in japan first then it trickles down to U.S. If I sound ignorant its because I am when it comes to Inuyasha. How do you know there is a total of 167 episodes if they haven't released those episodes yet. And how would I be able to get a hold of them. I'm not trying to question your info its just I'm very curious as to how I can get a hold of that info.

Yes, go to any place that sells anime or Viz DVD's.

They "trickle" down to the US first. Besides we aren't even that far yet.

With episode 164 looking to be yet another boring filler, I somehow doubt they're going to make Inuyasha finish by episode 167. But hey, I could be wrong. Oh hell, I wish I were wrong; Inuyasha really needs to end, this show is getting borderline ridiculous.

Sorry Animefreak, but unless they really butcher up the ending I don't see Inuyasha ending at episode 167 (although I kind of wish it did), there's just too much plot to wrap up. Unless they're planning to wrap it all up with the Inuyasha movie which is due for the holidays in Japan.

A 7/26/04 news item posted at this site stated 9/6/04 would be the last InuYasha ep-167 or 169.

I heard that Inuyasha was being cancelled for Gundam SEED: Destiny, but was never able to get confirmation on that.

That was the original version of the rumour, which was partially false. SEED Destiny's replacing Full Metal Alchemist.
