When I saw this on the front page of the Otakon website it said, "K-ON! Invades OTAKON." I was so excited until I checked the link and it said "English voice actresses." Oh well, I have nothing against the dub, I've just never checked it out before. I'll definitely be attending this though!

The legendary ADR director Stephen Foster cast talented actors which were "as attractive as their roles" for his dub of Gilgamesh. He joked that he had assembled the "hottest cast ever" for the show.
Seeing these K-On! cast pictures, I have to wonder if Bang/Zoom is trying to outdo him on that. (They can't, but it is nice that they try.  )
I'd rather have something else for Otakon than K-On!, but this isn't bad. It also makes sense as last year, when K-On was announced, Otakon put on a Christina Vee surprise mini-concert for the show. Seems logical to have a full concert this year. |
