i was about to order Ghost in the shell 2 : innocence from playusa.com but i realised that its not dubbed, only subtitles. I'd much rather wait until a dubbed version is released to buy it, so does anyone know if there is a dubbed dvd coming out???

Yeah, I looked it up and its only the sub. I highly doubt they will go through the process of dubbing it now. Millennium Actress was sub only as well (both released by Dreamworks). Apparently thats how they appease anime fans.

Dreamworks is treating it as a "foreign film", so it will only be in Japanese with English Subtitles.
Someone will probably do a "fan-dub" that you can find some way to use while watching the DVD. (The wish list would be getting the Stand Alone Complex cast to do an independent dubbing. This is almost likely not possible, due to contractual problems, but it'd still be nice if they could do it...) |
