This is not the only odd produce tie in I've seen. You know that candy that comes in a tin from Grave of the Fireflies. Some Japanese candy company came out with a official Grave of the Fireflies Candy tin.

Got one of those on my headboard.
Makes sense though since the candy existed before being used in the movie and it was commemorating the movie's 30th or something anniversary. Still creepy though. |

When I was watching this short, I kept wondering, "Has Justin Sevakis seen this yet?....Of course he has, its kids and their misfortune events."
I enjoyed it, but I kept wait for the children to starve to death

...damn. I watched it without knowing it was that. And to think, that show is what made me love those candies so much too(seriously though, they're actually really good candies).
