Ai Yori Aoshi dating sim game

J-List & Peach Princess just put up preorder links for am English translation of the Ai Yori Aoshi computer dating sim game.

Should be a very good buy for Ai Yori Aoshi fans.

I have a related question: If Japanese Bishoujo games like this one were to be translated (games either based on anime or games that a particular anime was based on, like Himiko-Den and Ai Yori Aoshi), would that influence your decision to buy the game?

(I'm also just curious as to how anime fans feel about Japanese dating sim game market in general, also.)

While I do really like the Ai Yori Aoshi manga, I don't really see the point of dating simulation games in general.

Haven't seen the anime version yet though it's on my list.

where can i Find this?!? this was one of my favorite anime's and to have a game ahh sooo good.. where can i find it?!?

On the Peach Princess site.

Note: The link will take you to the top page for Peach Princess, where you have to verify your age. I will not directly link to it due to content. (Mods, feel free to remove the above verification page link if you wish.)

Search for the word "Aoshi" on the Peach Princess main page to open the Preorder link. You will find a demonstration version and a summary on the page.

As a content warning, the game will most likely be rated Adults-Only, so you must be 18 years of age or older to purchase the product when it is available.

Also, as I noted above, it is a Pre-Order link only -- you can reserve the game, but there is no current date of release as Peach Princess is involved in other translations atm.

As a clarification - the game is not Adults-Only, the anticipated rating for it will be Teen, much like Hourglass of Summer. There was a recent newsletter from Peach-Pea that had a total of about 3 new games that are coming out – none of which are Adults-Only.

Much to the delight of bishoujo game fans – there has been a recent movement to translate the non-hentai games in an effort to branch out. So with any luck we may begin to see more of the games that are considered to be a part of the anime, but were not translated due to apparent lack of a market.

Thanks for the heads-up.

(Although, it's kind of wierd that J-List has it posted for preorder, but not J-Box, the non-18+ version of J-List that carries the other non-H / non-hentai games. Confused )

Just for note peach princess has nothing to do with the download problems with the demo it's all down to Hirameki international and they've stopped doing the download at the moment as their servers have been overloaded (which has gotten me annoyed as I was gonna try and download it today)
