I knew it was ending but still sad to read it. It was my dose of happiness for the year.

But I wonder what this new project they speak of is?

I loved this show, and I'm wondering if the other project would be a second series to come after they've taken some time out. That would be good.

The french article says "other project [sic] are planned". Can't tell if it's one project or more.

Has anyone read the manga and know it it's ended or not? I was more curious than anything.

Not a surprise, but I'll be missing it.

I'm very curious what the next adaptation will be.

No, it's still running in flowers every month (again now after the hiatus), but it's only 10 pages or so each time (lots of 4koma.) Still no solicitation for a 5th volume of manga, so if it's source material it may be a while. That said, it's quite easy to create stories with this group, so I'm not sure how much of the show has been anime-original.

Alas, all good things must come to an end. Already knew it would be 50 or so episodes but to see in words again that it will be ending soon makes me kinda sad. The only thing that won't be sad is my wallet, LoL. The BDs are exclusive to Animate, which means paying full price, and at 7140 yen a pop, OUCH. Curious that pre-orders for BD vols. 7-9 haven't opened yet.

I believe a big portion of the stories are original to the anime. From what I hear from friends who have read the manga, it mostly focuses on Shirokuma and Panda. Though I had planned to, I haven't picked up the manga yet due to the apparent lack of Penguin. I've been told he doesn't actually show up much.

While I had gotten info from viewers on which number it would end, I anticipated what day and when. I have to finish watching the rest of the show. I stopped allowing for more eps to be viewed in a chunk. I really love the series, but I knew it had to end sometime.
