This was a really good volume of the show. I welcomed the methodical approach to spaceflight and space battles. Don't get me wrong; I enjoy the fast and frenetic battles in shows like Gundam Seed and the like. From a variety standpoint, it's nice to witness a different way.
To address the reviewer's complaint about how they spent 3min. mourning the crewmate's death; they were in a state of war with 4 battleships heading their way. Besides, in those music-only scenes at the beginning of "Stardust Memories" did depict paying respects to the deceased. It just gave us a fast-forwarded look. Of course, that is just my humble opinion.
Looking forward to vol 3!
