I first heard him in Machine Robo. Wish we'd get more oldschool seiyu like him in Seattle.

Kind of an unexpected choice, but Inoue is a wonderful seiyuu. I'll look forward to his panel at AX. =D

Truly one of the best of the best.
Personally fond of two of his more obscure roles: Bill Wilcox in Bismark and Justy from Cosmo Police Justy. The scene where Justy has rescued Astalis and begins his revenge mission is just amazing, as deeply acted as any flesh and blood actor could have done.
Both roles are about five dimensions bigger than if anyone else played them, thanks to Mr. Inoue.
