Once again my local Border's broke the street date and put the last volume of Love Hina on the sale shelves. I just finished reading it and I can tell you that the ending and is a much more satisfing end than the anime ending of Love Hina, IMO. You probably guessed from the cover, but Naru and Keitaro get married at the end. It's sad to see Love Hina come to an end, but it had a much better ending than the anime version did.

Hooray! That is good. I was a little dissapointed with the end of the anime. But then i started reading the manga, I found myself much happier. I should go to my local book store place to go get the last volume of Love Hina....

The anime, while mostly good, came too quick and butchered too much of the later stuff. The manga was always better, and is my favorite manga. I believe it to be one of the best manga published in this country so far, and am happy for its sucess. I need to check my locale Japanese bookstores, they tend to break street with domestic. I will just need the US version of the extra after it. I already got the Japanese version.

Ah, the ending is upon us. I still have to read #13 (and #3, which I skipped... ^-^;; ). I agree, it was a very good read. I was never interested in seeing the anime.

I'll sweeten the info. You do find out who the promise girl was in vol 14, which you never found out in the anime version. It is none other than SUPER MEGA Naru. Yes it is her.

Yeah the anime let us down when it tried to cover the later stuff. I just got my copy of the English version, and am happy they put in the extra art. It makes it worth it, now if only the special art extra comes out.
Edit: just finished it, I dislike some choices they made at on the final page, they didn't just translate, they re-wrote the last lines and it isn't as good.

This might belong in the general posting area but whats with the Japanese. dvds? They have Love Hina Again, and Love Hina Final Selection. Are LH Again and Final Selection just combined for the US release? Or the US just not bring LH Final Selection?

Final selection is worthless, it is just a clip show.

I really don't care for Love Hina Again. They tried to cram too much into 3 30 minute ovas. If it was longer or if they extended the tv series beyond 24 episodes it would have been better. They may have gotten all the way through vol 14, instead of stopping at vol 12.

Ya, I just bought Lova Hina Again and LH volume 14. I watched and read them both already. Again was a little dissapointing. Seemed kind of boring and they crammed too much into the 3 episodes. They left a lot out. Then i read volume 14 and then I felt much better. 14 finished off the manga very good. And much better then the anime did. The anime would have been better if the didn't try cramming all the infomation into only 6 series dvds and 3 ova dvds. But overall I love the series. Its one of my top favorite animes. Though the manga is better then the anime. I cant really compare the manga to anything else really because Love Hina is just about the only manga I own. But as for right now its my favorite manga.

I just got volume 3 the other day ~ I'm taking it slow with Love Hina becuase of the fact that I know how much I will have spent by the time I have the whole set. But on the bright side I have yet to be disapointed with any of the volumes that I have.

Amazon.com also disregarded the street dates. I got my Vol 14. today.
Love Hina was the first manga series I bought. It's still my second favorite series. (1st will always be Nausicaa)
Here's looking forward to A.I Love You and Mahou Sensei Negmi.

Just finished reading Love Hina 14 and it left me with a good feeling. Love Hina Again, on the other hand, left much to be desired. I think that another movie should be made to correctly finish off the series.

It's been a while since I read Love Hina... I don't know how I struggled through it two years ago... Japanese was still a complete foreign language then. Thank goodness there were translations on the net. I'd probably go back and reread the story once more later in the year. It does bring the story to a closure... one that just too way too long to happen because of the stubborness. Anyway, I still need to finish Kimagure Orange Road (40% done) before that happens.
