Any idea where did the Restoration manga end? Last time I checked Kenshin met Saito.

So much WIN with this news. My wife and I can definitely see both of these actors fitting the roles perfectly. RK will definitely go down as the best Manga to Live action adaption.

I'm practically SMILING at the casting of these two actors.
I was hoping for Kamiki Ryuunosuke as Seta Soujiro and I loved Iseya Yusuke in Ashita no Joe. Can't wait to see the other characters being casted. ; u ; |

Weeeell, it ended after spoiler[ Kenshin and Kaoru had a nasty run-in with Jin'e, who killed himself again] and Kanryuu was spoiler[ arrested for being a giant jerk (and smuggling weapons and blackmailing everyone within a 5 mile radius)] and then they all spoiler[lived happily ever after the Kamiya Dojo.] The end. I've not seen either of these actors' work, but they certainly look the part! Now can we get a Misao pleeeease?? |

They look like acceptable casting choices. Of course we won't know until we see them in makeup and costume. The first one definitely looks young and wussy, like Sojiro. The second guy doesn't look quite handsome enough to play Aoshi, but again, makeup and costuming will tell.
edit: Upon looking at some pictures of Yusuke, he is pretty handsome. Hope he loses the piercing though. |

I just saw the first movie the other day and it was very good. Not sure who the blonde guy was yet. These two actors look like good makes for these characters. Can't wait for more movies, Especially if they cover the Tenchu arc with the 3rd film.
