Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (manga) I was confused which one are you talking about.

I know there are multiple adaptations drawn by several different manga-ka. Right now I'm not so sure if those different adaptations should own their separate entries (and probably grouped as an anthology) or just one entry as of now and list different authors with precision tags. |

On top of that, an encyclopedia should be informative. Muddling all the data onto one entry will just make it all the more confusing. |

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni - Onisaranishi ひぐらしのなく頃に 鬼曝し編 Mangaka: 鬼頭えん/ 07th-expansion Publisher: Kadokawa Shoten Serialized in: Comp Ace Volume one -2006.04.10 Volume two -2006.09.26 In Higurashi no Naku koro ni there are eight separate arcs (as far as I know) with eight separate stories only five have been adapted to manga (as far as I know, two more will be adapted later this year). All the arcs have the same main characters. They are sold by there own volume number. For
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni - Onisarashi hen ひぐらしのなく頃に 鬼曝し編 Mangaka : 鬼頭えん(Kitou En) / Ryukishi 07 the main character is actually not Kenichi, and the events are not in Hinamizawa. Ryukishi 07 comments at the end of the manga that this is a gaiden to the Higurashi series so probably is not part of the eight arcs. In these eight arcs, one of the arcs is related to another. Like meakashi-hen sort of shows what really happened in watanagashi-hen. The gaiden one seems to be set in time right after Tatarigoroshi-hen. |
