Hmmm... what's the point of making hotel reservations through this page? Do I get a wallscroll or something?

Nope. You don't even get hotel discounts equal to convention rates. It's VERY misleading.

Basically it's a co-brand of an existing travel store and I'd bet that AX gets a percentage cut of all bookings made through the site.

Basically, it's no different than booking travel at sites like Travelocity, Expedia, and Orbitz.
