Is Snafu going to get a blu release? Because I am tired of this game that Sentai and Funi do, where they release something only on dvd and then a year later put it out on blu ray.

I wouldn't be surprised that they are inhibited from releasing blu-rays earlier due to reverse importation fears, still want to produce a home video release when the series is still relevant, and don't announce future blu-ray release plans because it would probably affect dvd sales.

It's not fair blame FUNi/Sentai when it's Japan's fault. There was a pretty big debacle with Raildex as well, but they're working with companies and doing the best they can, but sometimes it's not enough for a timely release.
