Spencer did say that he was interested in it being brought over on Twitter, I guess Japan agreed. Really, if it's already in English they may as well bring it over.

Yes, all current gen systems except for the Nintendo ones are region free for games.

Of all consoles it had to be Xbox One.
I have literally all systems except Xbox One so this is a darn shame.
I would've instantly buy this game if it was for any other system but getting Xbox One only for this is not worth.

I wonder what the quality of the English release will be. Also, I find it so funny that Microsoft throws so much money around trying to get Japanese people to buy their consoles. It's not gonna happen guys. That market is impenetrable.

Come on guys and gals. You know the Xbox One is the go-to Japanese game console, hence why 5pb. keeps making Xbox exclusives/timed exclusives this gen. The Wii U and PS4 sales are just not profitable for them or else the game would have released there.

Never thought I'd see the day where I might import a game from China (that is if they don't announce it for North America).

The game is a visual novel, so if you are expecting "gameplay" you are likely going to be disappointed.

I know it's a visual novel, but I read somewhere that it had Kinect functionality and that it would track your hands and put them in the game so it must have some sort of gameplay other than reading. Not that I have a problem with that, I love visual novels, it's just my impression of this one was different. I can't even find anyone playing the visual novel online.

I couldn't find a video either, but based on this article it doesn't sound like real gameplay. Still might be one of the cooler uses of the Kinect though.

This is for China - China has bought more XB1s in a week than Japan has in a year.

It's Japanese-type loyalty. They've released stuff for the Xbox before, so their people are familiar. In Japanese business, often familiarity trumps financial minds - same reason Japanese companies prefer to work with Sony than with foreigners.

Apart from Moe Chronicle I think every game that got a English asian release ended up with a western release. So the odds are very good.
