FMA is actually a rather new series. The manga isn't really that old, and the anime is one of the new series this season *my number one show at the moment*, and it's animated by Bones. No news on an american company picking it up, but I have heard rumors of an american version being made, though not really quite sure what they mean about that. A videogame is coming out too in a bit.

Yes, FullMetal Alchemist has an anime. (I believe if you look in the encyclopedia you will find it.) As to it coming to America, I don't really know. I'm sure it will come over here eventually, but I'm not really sure.
The anime is fairly new I believe, not sure about the game. (I don't really know about the game though...but since the anime is made by SquareEnix I'd say it has to be fairly new...since SquareEnix isn't that old.)

The manga and anime are really new. The anime is quite good, but the manga is way better for me. I read 3 volumes so far and I am impressed. The world reminds me little of Arcanum. Technology and "magick"

First you can either download the torrent. That's the little file that connects you with all the other seeds on the internet. You can download that, or just open it from the site you found it at. Either way, open that, and that'll start the download. You have to have a bittorrent program in order to do this of course.
[EDIT - Yeah, it's borderline, but it's okay. We discribed how BT works in some detail in an editorial, anyway. No names or sites were provided, so I'll let it stand -C]

Square-Enix is making a game based off the manga/anime, and the anime is based off the manga.
