How awesome would it be if we got a full year's worth of Osomatsu?

May be good news? I was just thinking the other day that given the nature of the show it could run and run, so long as they can still come up with the ideas.

I haven't seen the originals, other than OPs and EDs, but it's a lot easier to drag out a kid's show than an adult-oriented sitcom.

Glad to see this show getting a lot of attention.

I wouldn't mind it at all if it's more than 2 cours.

Another half year of Osomatsu would be a blessing.

Maybe it will be half a year but the planner is waiting a while to confirm it or this ambiguous message means that it will be past 25-6 eps.

I could use a break to recharge but am ready for more. The similar Teen Titans Go! is still good after all so troll on. The success with young woman makes sense with the all male cast. The newly launched manga is a Josei too.

Aren't them overplaying it? It never ranked among the top 10 most watched nor the most recorded series of the week.

You're obviously not paying attention to the Japanese viewers' reaction. Osomatsu is projected to be the top seller of the season, the preorder estimates for the BDs are off the roof, pixiv is flooded with fanarts, the ED single sold over 100K copies and the merchandise is flying off the shelves. I'd say quite the contrary, that they did intend it to be a two-cour but seeing how it's exploded has convinced them of extending its run

It's pretty interesting how parodies and comedies always have a larger female audience. I would have thought it'd be more neutral. I guess I have peculiar tastes. Most of my favorite shows have a bigger appeal to women than men (Gintama, Ososmatsu-san).

It's pretty clear that the staff was blindsided by what a big hit this show was. I don't think that anyone expected that the big hit of the season, if not the year, would be a sequel to a gag anime from 1966.

Well, this is good news for the best incestuous bathtime phallus-guessing series of 2015, I suppose.

The new anime is so big that even the original manga started to get some internet love but i most remember the show for the love hotel destroying 7 person Christmas gang bang Zalis116.
